Association for the Calligraphic Arts Mission Statement:

"The Association for the Calligraphic Arts strengthens, supports and unifies the calligraphic community worldwide through information, inspiration, resources for education and opportunities for development."

The Association for the Calligraphic Arts (ACA) was founded as an international non-profit organization in 1997 by professional and novïce calligraphers alike for the purpose of increasing public awareness of and appreciation for the study and practice of calligraphy and lettering arts through exhibitions, publications, educational programs and related activities.

Membership is open to anyone from around the world. We currently offer two membership levels: individual and guild/organization. Memberships are renewed on a yearly basis, one year from the date that you join. Among many other benefits, members enjoy our quarterly, international journal publication titled The Newsletter. It's 28 pages filled with information for all skill levels.

The ACA is an US registered not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization.
